Family Times

At the end of November my Aunt and Uncle had all of us (on my mom's side) up for dinner to see my cousin, Ross, who was on leave from Iraq. (Of course my pic of Ross didn't turn out so I will have to scan him and his brother in a later post). Anyway, Ross has been in Iraq since earlier this year and his older brother, Travis, has been deployed to Afghanistan. Both are doing well but eager to come home. It was interesting talking to Ross and getting a clearer picture of what is truly going on over there and not what the media and politicians portray 1/2 the time. We were also able to catch up with Travis briefly as he called home during dinner.

Hang in there boys! We love you and are praying for you! Thank you for serving your country and for sacrificing so much for us and for people who don't understand what you are doing for them. If you see this before Christmas, know that you are loved SOOOOO much and we will miss you! Stay out of trouble! And I will be anxious for all your book reviews when you get home:). Be the light!
