A tooth, sisters, and an ordination

Upon my arrival home from NYC and Louisville I was eagerly greeted by this adorable 4 year old who looked like she was 7 because she was missing her front tooth. Right before I left for NYC I had noticed that Rayah had a blister on her gum right above her left front tooth- the one that had broken her fall about 6 months earlier. The tooth had healed (amazingly) after her face plant with the concrete and had even risen slightly back up into place and not lost its color or anything....or so we thought. So at least 6 months later a blister formed on her gum and we were informed that the tooth had indeed died and now there was an infection. So, to the dentist we went and my big girl (no tears at all) laid down, took the gas, the shot and all and let the dentist pull her tooth. She looks older and will for the next 2 years or so before her adult teeth grow in. The best part for her was Mc Donalds for dinner that night and the tooth fairy stopping by for her special tooth.
Below are pics of both girls we took at church and a great one of Rayah and her new smile. I told her she needs to practice smiling with tongue down because in most of her photos now she has her tongue sticking through her tooth hole. I informed her that her mother used to do the same thing when she was little and she thought that was pretty funny:)

Okay, Am I just being her mom or does she really look older? :)

I know this picture is not the best but that is what happens when your camera battery decides to die right after the first picture....aaaaahhhhhhh! Anyway, Jeff was formally ordained at our church this past November though everything had
"passed" earlier this year we had a nice time of prayer and dedication on Nov 7th. Because Redwood is non-denominational and a community church they have high standards for ordination for accountability reasons, etc. Jeff received his masters and then had to write a paper and be interviewed by a panel on his positions and beliefs. The time of prayer and dedication was very humbling as they had us kneel as they prayed over us- what an honor to be able serve in ministry. It was also a special day because much of our family was able to be there and support us in the path God has chosen for us. As a wife, I have to say I am very proud of my hubby!!!! I did have to tease him a little though and call him Reverend Miller----he told me to shut up--now that isn't very Christ-like (teehee)!

You're girls look wonderful in the pics! We had five little Indians (I think it's one of the best costume choices but I'm biased). Hope you are feeling well! Congrats again Jeff!
