Dedication Sunday

This past Sunday we had the opportunity to dedicate Eliana to the LORD- as one of my friends said, "She already has been." which is true but we had a little ceremony at church. A time for family to come and for our church family to keep us accountable on raising our children in truth and for them to promise to pray for us and help us in raising our girls to know God. For those of you unfamiliar with child dedication it is more of a promise and dedication for us as parents than for Eliana. It is us saying that we vow to raise her in a home that loves the LORD and honors Him and makes Him known. This doesn't "save" Eliana or anything of that nature- it just keeps us accountable as parents and reminds us who Eliana really belongs to. She is His daughter on loan to us for a predetermined amount of time and we are enjoying pretty much every minute:).

The star:)...she did really well while we were on stage which was a blessing. I think us moms always think of what could go wrong...screaming, spit up, noises no one really wants to here and I think the worst would have been a major blowout BUT none of those wonderfully embarrassing events took place. Yipeee!
These 2 are from today- our 2 month old! She is cooing and smiling and HUGE! 99% in head, length and weight....watch out Rayah and Ashlyn!
