At 12:01 am our new niece came into this world---the first of the New Year (at least in 3 counties now). Rebekah went to the hospital yesterday afternoon and could have barely pulled off a 07 baby but the doctor was so excited to have his first New Year baby after 33 years of deliveries that they took a minute or two extra:) So- YIPEE the first baby of the year in her area and that means gift baskets and a newspaper article (so far) but no tax break for 2007:). She is healthy and beautiful and we praise the Lord for that! 6 pounds 7 ounces, 19 1/4" long, lots of brown hair with golden highlights (explain that without the sun:)), cute as can be! The girls couldn't wait to see her and were so excited to hold her...

That is so fun! I remember asking (no begging) that the twins would not arrive on October 31st (thankfully Nov.2 was the day :) If you have to be born on a holiday the first of the year is the way to go! What a joy... Happy New Year!
Heather, when i first opened this blog, i knew it had been a little while since i last checked it...but for split second i thought you were announcing YOUR #3!! i was like WHAT!!...but still Kate is beautiful. i do love all her hair :) and your girls get bigger and more beautiful every minute.
