The Happiest place on Earth- what a way to celebrate Christmas and Graduation. We (Jeff, Heather and Rayah) left the SF Bay on a cool, rainy Tuesday morning and said goodbye to Mom, Dad, and Ashlyn as we embarked on 3 days of Disneyland. We met almost all of Jeff's family and a few friends at the airport where we flew into sunny and 75 degree Anaheim, CA, the home of Disneyland.55 years ago Mr. Disney opened a theme park in a once quiet 60 acre orange tree orchard so that his
whole family would
have a wonderful place to enjoy life and each other. It was rocky at first, but just a year later the park was a favorite of many people and it hasn't stopped since (okay...we watched the video). We had a great time and enjoyed watching Rayah experience Disney for the first time.Rayah's favorites were: Peter Pan, Dumbo, the roller coasters (toon town and Big Thunder Mtn), Soaring over California, Small World, and many more. She was able to meet lots of characters and enjoyed being with her cousins and family.
We stayed in the Grand Californian which was quite a treat and to those who have never been to Disney during the Christmas season I would have to say it is a special time. Everything is decorated to a tee and to those who know Disney you know that they think of everything. Even a Small World is actually enjoyable to ride through (even twice:)).

yea!!! Disneyland looks like a blast! I love the picture of Rayah concked out! I hope that the trip was everything you were expecting and that it was a fun time to enjoy California, family, and no more school!
